Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

When a child support order is established, how does the court calculate the amount of retroactive support into the monthly total? The total support seems about right, but the monthly amount to be paid back seems low. I wondered if its calculated out until the child reaches 18.

There is a statute that provides the gidelines. Suppoet is until 18 or graduation from high school -- whichever is later.
