Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child Support Order

I am a Father of a 4 year old son. I never married the child's mother and have nothing in writing as to how much I monthly pay for child support. I have been the one who has made the call to child services, and I am awaiting a meeting with them. What information will I need to provide them showing how I am a participant in supporting for my child? How do they formally determine the set amount I am to give a month for child support? I am planning getting married with my fiance, will this affect her in any way financially? Any information on this subject will be helpful.

Thank you,

Re: Child Support Order

Are you sure you are the father? Review my web page for detailed information on child support. www.attorney-4u.com As you will see, child support is calculated using your net monthly income and the mother's net monthly income. There are also allowable deductions which would lower the amount you would pay. This situation will effect your new marriage in that there will be less monthly income in your household and time for visitation with your child. It can all work out assuming that you pay and the mother does not fight visitation.
