Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

child support

Can the parent receiving the child support money spend the money on herself/himself & not the child? If the paying parent finds out about it, can he/she take away the money or have the money be put in a special account to ensure the money goes to the child..& not to close or misc things for the parent?

Re: child support

Child support is for the child. If you have proof it is being used for somehting else you may seek modification by court order. You cannot stop paying on your own.
