child support after parental rights terminated

I need to know if by florida law I can be sued for child support arrears after my parental rights have been terminated.or after the adoption of the child by the adopting parent. i am being sued for 6,000 dollars in arrears but i nolonger have any legal or personal involvement with the child.

yes, if it is for past due obligations.
