child support

if im paying child support but have no visitation is my ex allowed to move out of state!?

She technically has to file an intent to relocate with the court and serve you as well. If you do not consent to the relocation, you can argue against it in court. However, if you do not have visitation, some of the main reasons for which the judge would not allow relocation are not there.

One does not necessarily follow the other. Your obligation for child support is independent of your right to visit with the child. My thought would be to back before the judge and if your ex wants to move out of thestate and you cannot stop her, just adjust your visitation,i.e., longer summer visits, or a week or two here and there when child is out of school.
