Child Support

what is the percental that is used to figure out child support in the state of FL or can you give me a rough estimate on approx how much a father of 1 would pay making about 24,000.00 a year in support per month?

In order to calculate child support in Florida, you need to know the monthly net income for both parents, meaning their total take-home pay. You then use the child support guidelines (Florida Statutes Chapter 61.30) to figure the "basic obligation." Day care expenses and medical insurance for the minor child(ren) are then added to the basic obligation.
