Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child Support Question

What exactly does the child support that I receive from my ex-husban cover? He seems to think it covers every expense that arises, including senior portraits, homecoming tickets, gas, car insurance, movies, etc. I say it covers the basic necessities of life, such as food, shelter and utilities. I can't find a definitive answer anywhere. Please help. Thanks!

Re: Child Support Question

If court ordered, it covers all things mentioned or contemplated in the original support petition. If there ae expenses, not reasonably contemplated, a court may accept a petition to modify.
