child support

when a child reaches legal age (18) is there anything the person who is paying child support must do to notify anyone or the court that the child support is finished? Thank you

Depending on how your Final Judgment and Marital Agreement states that issue will depend on whether you should file a motion to determine the file payment date. Review your final judgment and agreement. You may have to briefly attend court to confirm that your responsibility to pay child support is ending or has ended.
