Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I have been trying to get child support re-evaluated and reduced since Sept. 2009. I sent a certified return receipt to Child Support Enforcement in Tallahassee and have not gotten any response. Several months after I asked for the modification of child support, I hired an attorney to help with getting the support modification, as well as visitations modified and health insurance for my daughter. My ex wife and I had a court hearing January 11th and nothing was resolved except for visitations through the summer. My ex wife has still not returned her financial affadavit disclosure (it's been 7 weeks since she recieved it) and I am out of money to proceed with the case. I am concerned that I will owe back child support, even though I have done everything in my financial situation to pay what I can pay. What options do I have at this point to see how I can have my child support reduced?

You can file a motion to compel to get her financial affidavit and set it for hearing.
