Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child Support

My sister is about to turn 18 and my father, who lives in Georgia, is paying child support for her. She lives in Florida which brings about my question, does my father continue to pay child support for her even though she's 18? Is there a certain age where my father stops paying child support? Finally if my sister is still living with my mother does my mother collect child support even though my sister is 18? Thank you.

Re: Child Support

The term of the child support should be outlined in the Order that determined the support. Normally, child support ends when the child turns 18, but, you will have to review the Order to be curtain because there are exceptions.
