Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Child Support
My son received a summons (?) and did not respond. Now I see he received a ''default''. Can he still get a lawyer and respond.
He has legal custody of the children, and had the children for nine years, because his ex wife did not want to have the responsibility. He has more than held up his end of the bargain over the years, but for the last 1 1/2 years, the children have lived with their Mother because of the schooling being better. It is great she is now taking some responsibility, but now she wants more money than he is providing. He is out of work at the time being.

Re: Child Support
He should not have defaulted. The court may or may not vacate its order.
