Child support

In the state of Florida,if couple are married for second time and the wife is not the mother of child,and is sole support of the husband,can she be held responsible for payment of child support for husbands child? Husband does not work at all and has no income.

Re: Child support

You answered your own question. Only a parent is responsible for supporting his or her child. If she is not the mother, she is not responsible for child support. Alimony and child support are two completely different concepts - the wife could be made to pay alimony to the husband, but nothing in child support.
