Child support/child custody

I am in the process of trying to recieve child support for my 2 children, my ex is on my son's birth certificate but not my daughters, he is now married and living in a 2 bedroom apt. with 4 kids.We have been seperated since 2006.I have raised them. Is it possible for him to take my kids from me?

While time sharing (the word used now in place of custody or visitation) will not be a part of a child support enforcement lawsuit, Your ex is certainly entitled to file a lawsuit to seek time sharing. But if the kids have been living primarily with you for 3 years, I doubt a judge would award him the majority of the timesharing.
