Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

child support/custody

I have an issue with an employer refusing to pay child support. They have the court order and they said they will not pay because the employee told them not to pay cause he was modifying support order??? They argued with me about it and then said well then get an order with our company name on it..How ignorant that order was written in 2003 and it is good for any employer! Can I report this employer for not paying the child support that says to pay me directly??

Re: child support/custody

There's really no one to report them to, but you can sue them. They are liable for the child support that they didn't take out of his pay. They owe you all the money they didn't take out.
