my ex husband has been out of our sons life for 7 years. In our divorce i got sole custody with him having supervised visits,now my ex wants to see our son what can i legally do and not do. i have offered visits, but his girlfriend is making things hard.

You are as bound by the court's order as he is. If the court ordered supervised visits, that is all he can do. If he wants that different, he has to go to court. YOU should not take the place ofthe judge and allow him more. His girlfriend should be his problem, not yours -- unless she is detrimental to the child. Good luck.
