Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
child vistation/living conditions
My daughters fathers place of residence is awful. The living conditions are unbeleivable. It is not a stable environment in means of food. The house is always dirty with feces in the bathroom tub to trash openly streun about the kitchen. There is a roach problem due to this. There a several hazards such a stagnant dirty water left in the tub to steak knifes, scissors and razors randemly left in the living room, and chicken bones and food left on the living room and kitchen floor. Impossible environment for our 2 year old daughter. He does not keep toilet paper or hand soap, he does not beleive in medical intervention, such as medicine or hospitals. Is there any way that my daughter can be kept from staying with him or even going to that house ? He stays with his mother and father and 3 siblings (one of which is mentally disabled) My daughter visibly and verbally does not like being there. She says she does not want to go to Grandmas house. What can I do? please help. I dont want her there, but I want her to see her father.

Re: child vistation/living conditions
You are the custodial parent! You can call the shots here. If it is like you say it is, then suggest to him the visits with a 2 yr old take place at another location. A park for example. If he questions you, you are just looking out for the safety and well-being of the child.
