Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

i have a child with a woman that i'm not with . i didn't find out he was mine untill she put me on child support .... he was 3 by this time . he is now 5 and i've seen him 3 times . her boyfriend wants to adopt him and that may be best for him because he knows him as his father and i honest can't take care of him . i have no job and haven't for years . i live with a girlfriend that takes care of me . so can i sign my rights over to him so he can adopt ? if so will i still be required to pay child support ?

YOu must first establish whether or not you are the father - paternity test. If you are then you can terminate your parental rights. The boyfriend CANNOT adopt the child - only if the bio mom and BF get married. then he can petition the court for adoption.
