Florida law permits the residential parent to relocate which places a heavy burden on the non-residential parent. You are entitled to visitation rights; perhaps, visitation for 4-6 weeks in the summer and during holidays is an option for you. If she moved with the children, you can ask the court to change the visitation arrangements to permit you to have visitation at a time and place convenient to you. Of course, the age of the children is important. You may want to check with a local family law attorney, legal aid office, Dept. of Children & Families or whichever service fits your situation. Remember that you do have parenting rights to visitation but that enforcing them can be difficult. It is a cost of divorce in our society which as you know falls heavily on the children as well.
