Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My children live in Tennessee and I live in Florida. What is the legal age that they can make their own decision as to which parent they want to live with? Do we go by the laws of the state in which they live?

Yes. Since your children live in Tennessee the jurisdiction is there.

Children can not make a legal decision as to where they want to live - of course age has a lot to do with this. However, they can be heard in court according to what age factor in the STate of Tenn is allowed. YOu will have to file your papers in that jurisdiction.
