Children love father, but dont want to visit
my children love their father he has remarried to a hateful woman they do not wish to visit and he is forcing the issue [now that he has been sued for more child support] this has gone on for 8 years he has also said his house is a warzone full of step kids.i have tried to work things out but it seems to be getting worse all the kids want is a little one on one time with their dad which he has never given them at what age can they choose wether to visit or not they are 15 and 13?

The children's wishes are at the bottom of the list as to dedciding if there will be visitation. The judge may listen to to older child but the younger one is not going to have any input in to the decision. My recommendation is to bring the situatino to the judges attention and see what happens.

Tough choices are what judges are paid for. Although the best interests of the children is the standard, visitation will will not be denied. The children's age will prevent their voice from being conclusive.Perhaps other arrangements can be found. I suggest you consult with your attorney and let a judge decide the issue.
