Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Can my child's biological father get fifty fifty physical custody if we were never married and I have more time to spend with my child? e.g. I only work 2-3 days during the work week. My child only goes to daycare when I work. I am currently married and my child is in a stable home with grandparents and great grandparents. On the other hand, he is single and his other family lives out of town.

There is always the possibility. But the court looks at several factors when deciding issues such as visitation and time sharing. Such as the school, the work schedule of the parents, etc. The standard in deciding this is the best interest of the child. If you want to weigh your options you should schedule a consultation with a attorney.
