Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child's insurance card

My ex-spouse is suppose to keep

ins on our son.He just resigned up

for ins,he told my son he needed an

address with a street name before

they would send him an insurance

card.He knows where we live I gave

him the PObox#where we are

getting mail.I live next door to my

mom.I called BCBS and they told me what I already knew, they don't

send out individual cards.BCBS sends the cards to the subscriber.

I don't speak to ex-he remarried 3

days after the divorce was final. He

talks with our son,can e-mail him

and can fly him down to see him

whenever he wants.I do not stand

in his way where our son is concerned. What kind of person tells

his son if he had to go to the hospital he wouldn't be able to see

anyone since the ins carrier doesn't

have a street address? The ins was

agreed to in our final divorce DO

I have to hire an attorney to take

care of this???If,I do will an attorney just be able to charge a

fee for just writing a letter????I can't afford much being a single

parent now.

Re: Child's insurance card

You remedy is a motion for contempt for his not maintaining the insurance. An attorney will charge you for writing the letter, and your ex will probably ignore the letter, so you might as well retain the lawyer for filing the motion for contempt. Yor lawyer will request that your ex be required to pay your attorney fees.
