Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My childs mother burnt her with a cigarette and admitted to smoking around her. We are going through a custody battle and along with her just being arrested and sentenced to probation for dui on drugs what are my chances of gaining custody until i have someone go and check her residents and until she gets help this is not her first run in with drugs its just the first since she has had my daughter. what can i file or do? she is also showing up really late and i have filed multiple contempts of courts im just awarded makeup time. please help!

YOu need to contact the Department of Children and Family Services and/or Child Abuse Hotline in your area. An investigation will be made and if the child/children are in danger they will be removed. You can get a copy of that report and use for your case in court to get full custody.
