Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Childsupport/alimony
My ex was ordered to pay both
childsupport and alimony. I moved
out of state and haven't found a
job yet can I go back to court and
get more childsupport. My alimony

Re: Childsupport/alimony
Judges are reluctant to increase child support where you cause the increased need. In other words, it's not fair for you to move, then, because you can't find a new job, you ask for more support. Nevertheless, it is possible for you to have support increased, so you may want to give it a shot. No law prevents it; it's just one of those things that's up to the judge.
