Claim child on tax return

If there was a court order for someone to claim a child on their tax return every year, how binding is it? My husband has the right to claim his child every year, but the mother claims her anyway! What can we do to make sure we are able to claim her legally?

There is an IRS form that you can file that will help but you should file a motion for contempt before filing this year.
