Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

cohabitation

What are the laws against cohabitation. Is there anything I can do to stop my daughters mother from moving in with a man she meet on line 3 weeks ago. My (7 year) daughter has told me she is afraid. Her mother and I are divorced but live together (about a year) and has not been stable and has moved 7 times in 3 years. Legally what can I do?

Re: cohabitation

There are no laws against cohbitation, but it sounds like you need to file a petition to have you designated as the primary residential parent as quickly as possible.
