Comtempt of Court for child support violation
My x says he is a 3x felon and on felony parole in the state of Florida. He has a hearing on charges of ''contempt'' for non-payment of child support. Will he be imprisoned for life for this? If so, does this mean I have no chace of ever collecting child support from him?

Child support contempt is rarely a basis for violation of probation. It's even more rare that it's a basis for imprisonment for violation of probation, and if he were facing the "three strikes" rule, he'd likely already be in prison. He may go to jail for six months for non-payment, but life would be almost impossible.
