Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I am concerned for the well being of my 3 children ages 16, 13 1/2, 11 1/2; in particular the two older ones. Our divorce was very high conflict and our co-parenting relationship is zero. The two older ones have been treated for suicidal tendencies, cutting, and depression. While they are not being physically abused, their mental and emotional states are being attacked. This past weekend presented such a case resulting in a cutting episode. They are in counseling as well as under the care of a medical physician and have been doing well. They do not want to return to his house.
What are their rights, my rights, and the process to keep them safe. We had a guardium ad lidum during the divorce. Should I and can I hire another for them. Thank you.

If the professionals recommend changing visitation then you probably need to pursue a Supplemental Petition For Modification. During that litigation, it might be appropriate to have a guardian ad litem reappointed by the Court.
If you opt to proceed without the assistance of counsel, be aware that you will not be entitled to a do over if things go badly.
