Concerned Mother

I live with my boyfriend, and we have two children. I don't work, he does. We can't pay our bills, and we aren't getting along. I want to take the children and live with my parents who are in another county in Florida. Can I go live with them and then file for custody of the children, or should I file for custoday first?

It would be much easier for you to move to your parents and then seek custody there.
