Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Contempt of COurt Enforcement of child support
Hello:
My case is quit difficult, l am representing myself. It is also in the appeals court but the appeals courts have relunquished jurisdiction to the lower court. I have filed contempt of court and enforcement of child support. mY ex has moved out of state and l have been unable to find him until a few weeks ago. He made the news because of kidnapping charges against him. I now know where he lives. I filed this motion above and nothing from this judge it has been almost a month now and he has not answered and l am really sick of this judge just because l am pro se but he has a duty by law to answer these emergency motions filed since my ex is 2 years behind in child support. Is there anything else l can do? This is not the only motion l have filed that he has ignored. my ex always gets away with everything , l know where the man lives and the judge does nothing. I have asked for a bench warrent for his arrest and pay the rearrs he is behind.

If your case is so difficult, why are you representing yourself? Perhaps the reason you are losing is because you don't have a lawyer. You complain that the judge is not treating you properly because you are pro se. I don't know if that's true, but if it is, why don't you hire a lawyer?
