Do I have to continue to pay child support on a minor child that has quit school? Or pay support for a minor child that had a baby?

You have to pay support unless the child is legally emancipated. Having a baby in and of itself is not enough justification. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659.

If the minor is living at home with parent, yes you must continue to pay support until child is emancipated. You may will to Petition the court to discontinue the support based on the issue that the minor is a parent. You don't say what age this minor is. Is the minor working.etc. Also the father of the baby should be paying support - and/or is this a case where statutory rape is involved? How old is the father of this baby. Need more info to advise you correctly.
