Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

continuence

I am representing myself in my divorce hearing and I have an appearance to make regarding the guardian et litem. I am unable to make the appearance on the day specified. I was told that I could file for a continuence online by accessing the appropriate form. Could you please tell me where i can go to find that particular form and any other information you can offer.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Re: continuence

Two simple forms are required: Motion (For Continuance), and Notice (of Motion For Continuance). Since the county is not indicated, you could contact the Clerk of Court regarding access to the forms. In some counties you may purchase forms for $1 per page. Fill in the blanks, specify the reasons for the continuance, and file timely with the Clerk.
