Contract dispute

I have owned my condo. alone for 14 years . I put my boyfriend on the deed 31/2 years ago to ensure if I were to die he would have an ownership right. However, now our elationship is over and he thinks he has the right to my condo. What am I at risk of loosing? How much does he have a right to get from me?

Facts: Paid $250,000 for the unit 14 years ago.

Now worth $600,000.

Mortgage in my name only for $150,000.

What am I at risk of loosing and what should I make make him an offer to get out?

Right now he owns an undivided 1/2 share. It looks like you made him a nice a gift. You will have to bring a court proceeding to attempt to have his name removed.Good luck.
