Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

when to court for child support and a representative for the department of revnue told me that upon termination of my parental rights. child support would stop. I've gone to court and my rights were suspended and the case was close me and my mother who has custody of my child has also been trying to stop the support on me due to the fact I have no job. what can I do

If your rights were in fact terminated then you do not owe support but you may owe arrears up to the time your rights were terminated. Your ex can agree to waive all the arrears too.

Having your rights suspended is completed different than having your rights terminated. If your rights are suspended, they can be restored, so child support continues throughout the suspension. Also, not having a job does not stop child support.
