Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Court Documents
If there is an expiration date on legal documents (i.e. petition for paternity) for when you need to respond with your defense. The defendant chooses not to respond to the documents by the expiration date. If they were sent by regular ground mail, can she still be held liable if the documents were not served properly?

Of course there are time limits for almost everything in the law. It sounds like you need the help of an experienced lawyer.
