If you've filed it with child support enforcement, you may just have to follow up with the judicial assistant to get a hearing date. If you've filed your case in family court, if you are proceeding pro se, you may need to file a request for hearing. It's a format wherein you put amount of time needed and you sign the pleading. You follow up with the judge's assistant to see about a court date. Usually if you are pro se, they will ask you to work with the judge's case manager to help you with a court date.
