Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Custodial Parent

According to my legal custody papers, I have sole custody of my child but I agreed to shared parental responsibility. The father thinks this means we have joint custody but I was assured I have sole custody due to the wording in the papers. It states that although both parties have shared parental responsibility, the mother is the custodial parent.

What is the difference between custodial parent and equal/ shared parental responsibility?

Re: Custodial Parent

Excellent question which should have been reviewed with your attorney before you agreed to it.
