Custody of adopted child

Me and my husband apoted my younger sisters son,last year she pasted away in a car accident leaving behind a daughter which my mom and other sister are taking care of.Now my question is that can the he go live with them and his sister if he wants to and its ok with us.Do we have to involve the state,what are options?

If you and your husband are the legal parents and are wishing for someone else to care for and be legally responsible for your son, you should contact a qualified attorney to make sure that the new "custodians" are (at the very least) able to make legal (medical, educational) decisions on his behalf.
