I want to get custody of my child and give her father visitation separated not divorced but father always threatens to take child or keep child from me

If I understand your question correctly, you are currently married but separated from the father. In that case, your best bet may be to file for divorce and have a parenting plan established which will determine the timeshare (custody and visitation) rights of both parents. That way, you will not have to worry about your husband taking your child away. The amount of time each of you will have with your child will be defined by the parenting plan.
