need help with custody

I am a mom my daughter is 3 years old and her father is on ssi yet i need to find out how can i get full complete custody of my daughter. We were never married just living together and I want to ensure that he cant take her from me

The child's father presently has no rights. One of you needs to bring an action in court for paternity, then the issue of child custody could be fought. To avoid this, I suggest that you forego trying to collect support. WARNING: if you are or intend to collect taxpayer assistance,
