custody of a newborn

my daughter has a new born son his father is trying to keep her away from the child as much as possible remember she breast feeds the child the fatrher take the child for hours on end with out considering that the baby needs to feed and be changed for example he wants to take the child to his mothers for thanksgiving for the entire day and my daughter wants to spend it with her mother and me can he legally do this

He has no right to take the child from her. You will need to seek a court order to stop him.

Until paternity has been established and custody and support determined by a court, he has no rights.
