Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Custody question from 17 year old.
I am 17 yr. old. I have been living with my mother in Fl and parents divorced when I was a toddler. I have decided that I want to live with my dad in Chicago until I'm 18. Is this a choice I can make without going to court?

You can either petition for emancipation. If you obtain it, you will be free to live where you wish. Or, your dad can petition for modification of custody.
