Custody of my son
How can I get legal custody of my son, because my girlfriend wants to leave florida to move to virginia with her mom and take my son. I want to be able to see him and stay with him too without having to go to virgina for him. What can I do . she is planning to leave soon with him but I would like to start something up so she can not leave with him. Please help me. my son is only 9 months old. You will have to file a suit to determine custody in the family court in your county. You would be well served by retaining an attorney to represent you in this action.

You need an order pareventing her form relocating. Child support comes into play. Custody is a different issue.
