in 1998 i divorced my husband and retained shared custody of our daughter.he as having the primary custody. i have moved from the state where the divorce took place (fla). Before i left we agreed upon me having during the summers and every other x-mas. Now he will not let me even speak to her because i have had another child he says''you have a new family why do you need her''

how do i go about getting this taken care with hurting my daughter in the process?

If the divorce happened in Florida, you need a Florida attorney to handle subsequent issues of support/visitation.

He can be held in contempt for not allowing you to see your daughter.

You can be held in contempt for not paying support. However, it sounds like you had an acceptable reason to fall behind. As long as you're making a good-faith effort to catch up, the court will not look down on you for that, generally.

Best of luck to you.
