Can I stop my ex from seeing my child until we go to court if i feel its unsafe and that my ex is going to try and take him for good?

Re: Custody
You may, but it may be a bad idea. Remember that one of the top factors a judge considers in deciding who gets primary custody is which parent is most likely to allow visitation to the other parent.
If you deny your ex visitation now, you may lose primary residential care in the long run. Talk to a lawyer before you do anything extreme like denying visitation. It's probably better to get to a judge quickly and get a temporary court order defining visitation.
