Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Custody/Support

My ex lives in Broward Co. Fla. I have not seen my 2 children in over a year due to her. She is now seeking to have me pay child support through the state agency/automatic payroll deduction. I have been paying her directly by check for 9 years. do i have any rights to try to stop this action. Can i take her to court to get my visitation rights honored.

Re: Custody/Support

She has the right to try to collect child support through payroll deductions. Make sure you do keep good records of the payments you have made until now in case she claims arrearage. As for visitation, if they were awarded to you, you sure have the right to have the court compel her to comply with the order.

Yes. The court can make here honor your visitation. As to the payroll deduction, the court can order that too.
