Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My dad wants to divorce his wife and she is in a agreements, he has three kids from her. I'm currently taking care of them.
The issue is he is out of the country and will not be coming back any time soon, can he give me power of attorney to do everything for them?
Both a are in full agreement on everything and she does not want anything from him and there is no issue with the kids.
thank you

Your father needs to be present for the divorce hearing. You would not be able to sign a Settlement Agreement on his behalf.
Your father can have the divorce done so long as there aren't any contested issues. I have completed a case such as this for a client stationed overseas. For assistance, please give me a call at 1-800-408-5818 or email me at [email protected].
I agree with my colleagues but more concerned that your father can't speak for himself. I have clients from overseas and they have access to the computer. I suggest you have him call.
