Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My daughter is attempting to file for divorce proceedings. Her husband is extremely verbally abusive and threatening. He needs anger management and uses their two small sons as a pawn. He has not worked in close to three years. My daughter's income is not great. She's also currently on food stamps for her and the boys. I am hoping that you can offer some advise or guidance on what she should do. My daughter can not afford expensive legal help.
