Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

i got my daughter back in 2009..She was beaten and bruised..I took her father to court for child support. He pays it only when he wants too. H e hasnt been in her life to the point where she would know him..Even when she was younger...I have taken to her many doctors who all say she was traumatized when i wasnt around..I do not let her father see her for the simple reason i ahve had to pick up all the pieces and change everything she was taught and teach her the right way. Im scared if she sees her father he will screw everything up. He wants to take it to court for a judge to decided and tells me it wont be pretty. He has record with criminal mischif and prostitution. I wanna know is I should let her see her father and/ or do i have a leg to stand on if this goes to court

If the Court believe his probable claim of being a wonderful dad, the Court may hold against you your attempt to frustrate his relationship with the child.

If you can prove that he is an endangerment to the child, then seek sole custody.

If he owes you child support, take him back to Court.

If you opt to proceed without the assistance of counsel, be aware that you will not be entitled to a do over if things go badly.
