Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My daughter and her boyfriend are expecting a boy. The boyfriend was adopted by his mother's new husband when he was young and his last name is now of the adopted father's. He does not want to give the baby this name but wants to give the last name he was originally born with. Is it legal for both parents having different last names and give the baby yet another last name?

you can name this child what you want. Just remember when it comes to school and doctors and etc that you must have something to show that you are the child's parents. There will be numerous questions as to the different last names. There could be an issue of life and death and a hospital who does not have informed staff may not take this child in need of services.
